My first job was barning tobacco, and it taught me early that hard work, determination, and doing things the right way matter.
That work ethic carried me through careers in both federal and local government after earning a degree in Computer Science.
Life eventually took my husband and me to North Carolina, where I started working at the county library on the bookmobile. In NC we renovated our 1960 home from the ground up. We burned through more saw blades than I can count tearing out walls and learned quickly that old wood is a whole lot tougher than new wood. Plumbing, electrical, framing, sheetrock, paint, cabinets, vinyl replacement windows — we did it all ourselves.
Later, we moved back to Georgia to be closer to family, and I began a new chapter in Real Estate. What I love most is helping people navigate some of the biggest decisions of their lives. I take double the required continuing education because staying current on laws, rules, and market changes matters to me.
I’ve never been in this business just to chase a dollar. I put people first — always. I’ve even talked clients out of buying or selling when I knew it wasn’t in their best interest. Real estate is more than transactions to me. It’s the people business, and that’s exactly where I belong.
